In 2025, Ashley Wilde Group proudly celebrates its 75th anniversary. To mark this milestone, Chairman Ashley Brodin and CEO Simon Brodin share their insights in an exclusive interview, reflecting on what 75 years of success means to them. 

Established in 1950 by Nick Brodin, the Brodin family vision has been to create inspirational interiors with a range of soft furnishing fabrics and home decor accessories. Today, the brand is internationally regarded as the ‘Ultimate Home Interiors Haven’.

As a market leader, Ashley Wilde has secured the very best design talent, and their fabric collections continue to influence the industry with diverse collections that cater to a range of tastes.

A dedication to excellence has seen the Group win many awards and noteworthy contracts, including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and the contract for London’s 2012 Olympics in the Soft Furnishings category.

Ashley Wilde and KAI are the group’s distinctive in-house brands, boasting expansive collections with a mix of contemporary and timeless influences. Their lifestyle bedding brands include leading international names in home decor and accessories, including Laura Ashley, Orla Kiely, Cath Kidston and Sophie Allport, to name but a few.

During the design process, we focus on what really makes the design and product experience unique and outstanding. Our aim is to ensure we produce beautiful designs that people will love and we work with our brands to understand their unique DNA; for finished products that will delight.

Our talented team continually researches trends, and our studio is a haven of inspiration: mood boards, sketches, and an array of fabric swatches in every imaginable colour, texture and style.

The company operates from a purpose-built head office, a 52,000 sqft facility in Hertfordshire, serving as a distribution centre, spacious Design Studio, and storage facility. There is a further 51,000 sqft of storage and distribution centres housing stock, which is strategically managed using the latest stock and information management systems.
