CHARLOTTE JAMES FURNITURE LAUNCHES NEW COLLECTION
Charlotte James Furniture was pleased to reveal its new collection of furniture at Decorex International 2016.
As a family-run business founded in 2003, Charlotte James Furniture continues to be the only trade manufacturers and upholsterers of its kind in Scotland, creating luxury, hand-made furniture exclusively for clients throughout the UK and abroad. The launch of the new website and brochure at the internationally renowned event marks the company’s fifth year of participating.
The new Charlotte James Furniture website and brochure contains more than 70 new products across sofas, chairs, dining chairs, cabinetry, stools and benches, and headboards and beds. A selection of key pieces were showcased at Decorex, with the stand designed in collaboration with Edinburgh-based Interior Designer, Ian Smith.
Highlights from the new Charlotte James collection include:
– Fabien Sofa: Featuring an impressive curved design with exquisite finish, the Fabien is guaranteed to be the focal point of any room
– Erin Sofa: The lavish feather wrapped foam seat cushions of the Erin are completed with an elegant show plinth
– Oval Harris Stool: The Oval Harris stool features a distinctive saddle stitched top and stylish table
– Rory Dining Table: The wide base and robust top of the Rory dining table perfectly exhibits the meticulous craftsmanship of the piece
– Marcel Chair: The Marcel boasts a fluted back and sumptuous feather and down seat cushion to ensure maximum comfort
Managing Director of Charlotte James, Ross Dempster, has said of the new pieces:

All Charlotte James furniture is manufactured under one roof in Edinburgh. During manufacture, each piece of furniture is overseen by a nominated craftsman from an ever-expanding team of skilled upholsters, sewers, polishers and cabinet makers. The Charlotte James showroom also offers customers and their clients an opportunity to browse the range of furniture, guided by a dedicated member of the Charlotte James sales team.
Throughout the manufacturing process, Charlotte James’ ethos remains the same: to produce high quality, beautifully designed and wonderfully comfortable furniture. The new Charlotte James Furniture collection was launched alongside a new brochure and website that went live on Monday 19 September, in line with Decorex.
