Distinction Group in Jumeirah Village Circle Dubai

With panoramic views of Jumeirah’s famous beach front, the sweeping 800ft tower at FIVE’s Jumeirah Village Circle site is likely to be Dubai’s most ambitious development to date.

The revolutionary design of the property was conceptualized in house by FIVE Holdings. Distinction Group was approached by FIVE to furnish all the expansive public areas in the development, as well as indoor and outdoor furniture and loose furniture and casegoods for a number of the guest rooms and apartments.

The luxurious development boasts 247 guest rooms, 221 one and two-bedroom hotel apartments and 33 four-bedroom hotel apartments. Most notably, the building’s 360-degree balconies feature an extraordinary 271 private pools that line the edge of the hotel.

Whilst the scope of the project is evidently grand, it is only the beginning of the project’s opulence. The design intent features clean silhouettes and paired back luxury for a simple metropolitan finish. The décor is playful and fun, tailored to suit Dubai’s increasing clientele of holidaying young professionals.

In the guest rooms, the interior scheme includes neutral upholstery contrasted by warm wood surfaces, offering a homely Scandinavian-inspired atmosphere. Soft finishes against bright white walls enhance the abundance of natural light streaming in through the large balcony doors and floor-to-ceiling windows.

This theme of modern luxury extends through to the outdoor furniture, where guests are treated to a modern urban oasis, complete with plush outdoor sofas and sun loungers fit for enjoying stunning views across the Arabian gulf.

Having worked with Distinction Group previously on FIVE’s The Palm, Jumeirah residence, the developers were confident in offering Distinction Group the opportunity to source and manufacture a diverse range of furniture for this project.

Due to their experience with the eclecticism and variety of The Palms many public areas, Distinction were exceedingly qualified to take on the similarly divergent work at Jumeirah Village Circle.

The opportunity to work with FIVE on a second project provided great excitement and challenge for Distinction Group. Many of the assorted public areas included singular bespoke items, which whilst challenging, proved testament to the manufacturing capabilities of Distinction Group and their expert supply chain.

From Gourmet Bistro restaurants to unique spa facilities, the furniture throughout is reflective of the projects overall simplistic metropolitan design intent. Across the many indoor and outdoor areas FIVE’s revolutionary design and Distinction Group’s expert manufacturing are evident. This ambitious addition to Dubai’s bustling skyline is a feat of modern design, combining extraordinary architecture with elegant and stylish design.
