Harlequin continue to Sponsor New Designers event
For over 10 years Harlequin, part of the Style Library Contract group has sponsored and supported New Designers. 2018 is no exception and they are delighted to be judging an award this year too.
New Designers is a show for emerging talent in the design industry and is a great opportunity for graduates around the UK to present their work and ideas.
Claire Vallis, Creative Director for Harlequin says;
“We believe in investing in the future of design, and nurturing new talent, offering that bridge between education and industry with our internship, but it is a two-way process we also have lots to learn by seeing the world through fresh eyes, trained in the latest technology.”
Come along on Friday 29th at 1pm to find out the inside story on what it is like to work in a dynamic and successful studio, find out what Claire looks for in her design team, hear about how Hannah Bowen (Designer for Scion studio, also part of Style Library Contract) found the transition from ND graduate to working in the industry. It promises to be a lively discussion full of insight for new graduates.
New Designers is held at the Business Design Centre in London and runs in 2 sections; Wednesday 27th – Saturday 30th June and Wednesday 4th – Saturday 7th July 2018.
