Hypnos Launches New Online Experience

With simpler navigation and an improved browsing experience, the brand-new website is making it easy for international and independent hoteliers, designers, serviced apartment and student accommodation providers, franchisees and management companies to immerse in the world of Hypnos.

The new website, www.hypnoscontractbeds.com, has been rebuilt from the ground-up after an extensive analysis of user experience. Now, with improved navigation, faster access to product information and mobile optimisation, it’s easy to discover just what makes the British bedmaker tick.

Struan Robertson, Head of Digital Experience says, “The old Hypnos Contract website had reached the end of serviceable life and so we used it as an opportunity to start from scratch and create a brand-new website, taking a strong visual lead from the new retail-focused website that we launched last year. Our goal was to deliver a better all-round experience for our contract customers by making it easy to find out about the Hypnos brand, and our complete service solutions, research our beds and sofa ranges – whilst being inspired by some of the extraordinary luxury hotels and hospitality properties that Hypnos supplies beds to, from London to Dubai and all over the world”.

As part of the development process, the CRO team at our digital agency, Rawnet, conducted a deep analysis of how visitors interacted with its old site so that we could make meaningful and scientific changes to improve user experience and engagement. Improvements to page layouts, placement of call-to-action buttons and product signposting resulted in a smoother and more satisfying browsing experience, with downloadable product specifications being made available as PDF downloads from every product page.

Search has been a major focus of the build as Struan explains, “a shortfall of our old site was that it was difficult to search and find products in an over-complicated navigation structure so we’ve addressed this in the new platform which is now far easier to not only to find individual products, but also compare between them or source matching items, within just a few steps, before requesting a quote or Fabric Samples.”

Hypnos’ fascinating and inspirational Hotel Hypnos video blog series, offering discussion and opinions from key figures within the hospitality industry, enjoys a more prominent role on the new website, along with a new, informative content section on providing guests’ wellbeing and travel hints, and trends and interior design news in the Sleep Hub. The best Hypnos projects such as The Tawny Hotel and Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal can also be discovered within just a couple of clicks.
