The Collective has opened the world’s largest co-living building in Canary Wharf, spanning 705 rooms across 21 storeys. In the context of increasingly isolating urban environments, The Collective seeks to create a positive impact and foster human connection.
We’re pleased to have curated a selection of bespoke furniture to furnish The Collective Canary Wharf throughout its communal spaces. Built from the ground up, the building reflects the next step in the company’s global vision for the future of co-living, expanding the lifestyle experience with a dedicated high-rise restaurant – ‘Mthr’ – and adjacent swimming pool and spa, situated on the 20th floor offering panoramic skyline views across London.
MTHR, the top floor restaurant and lounge area has been furnished to create a relaxed and calming atmosphere against the idyllic backdrop of the city skyline. Our custom-made coffee tables, created using sustainably recycled wood, creates a stand-out focal piece when nestled against the deep-seated Eliza lounge chairs. The Potts armchair has also been selected for its timeless design, which combines bentwood and cane for on-trend comfort.
Within the ground floor café, the Jules barstools and side chairs provide practical yet contemporary seating, creating an elevated social space for residents to congregate within. We introduced a wide range of surface textures to bring character to the room, further enhanced by table tops made from marble, terrazzo and innovative materials such as anti-fingerprint Fenix.
