Inside Out Contracts has been showcasing top commercial furniture picks from Salone Del Mobile, Milan, this summer. Their van from Milan has been touring the top talent in commercial interior design, architects and venues to enable designers and venue owners to test and discover the latest samples, with a much needed glass of bubbles!
Whilst September is the final month of the Inside Out Van from Milan, August has been a whirlwind of fun and excitement for all involved. However, what we want to know is, which are the pieces that everyone is talking about? To answer that question we have 4 highlights to share with you.
Highlight | Raquette Lounge Chair
A firm favourite has been the Raquette Lounge Chair which pays homage to the ancient technique of intertwining wooden slats. Inspiration has been taken from the world of tennis through the arms of the chair, which resemble racquet strings by virtue of their textured lattice work within the frame. The Raquette lounge chairs’ frame itself joins the two main parts: the wooden structure of the arms with the soft, organic cushioning from the seat and back. The two combine in perfect harmony to ensure exquisite design and contemporary comfort.

Highlight | The Scallop Lounge Chair
The scallop lounge chair is inspired by nature and is characterised by a softly and generously padded rounded silhouette back and seat, which is reminiscent of a seashell. This gives optimum back support and offers maximum comfort. It’s no wonder that it has been fully tested and admired by many.
