Westport from Lee Jofa, part of BCFA member GP&J Baker, is a casual yet sophisticated collection of traditional prints, weaves, embroideries and trimmings inspired by an eclectic mix of design references.

Its painterly prints, colourful embroideries and rich textures were created to work beautifully together and present a fresh and liveable point of view. Two classic hand block designs and more transitional patterns are highlighted through exceptional craftsmanship, combining to provide a luxurious laid back lifestyle.

Westport celebrates a bright and light colour palette, ranging from the perennial classic blue and white to crisp greens and pops of red, blush pink and softer tones all used in new and interesting ways.

‘Davenport’, in five signature colourways and printed on a pure linen ground, is based on a 1930’s archival textile. Inspired by 19th century traditional Persian tile work, ‘Lido’ is a versatile design printed in England on a fine linen and cotton ground. Both ‘Seacliffe’ and ‘Laine’ are authentic hand blocked prints enhanced with artisanal embroidery detailing.

‘Bradford Embroidery’ a large scaled tree-of-life design based on English crewel work is joined by the more contemporary ‘Ora’ and ‘Monterey’ embroidered in the collection’s distinctive colours.

The appealing artistry of ‘Solana’ and ‘Gorda’ gives them an almost hand painted artisan aesthetic and two exceptional upholstery weaves, ‘Kolmar’ and ‘Varona’ play a supporting role to the all the decorative designs in the collection.
