Linwood Introduce Eco-friendly Collection

Design Insider is thrilled to announce to our readers that Linwood have just launched a new, eco-friendly and plain cotton collection; Verde.

Using offcuts from the fashion industry – Verde is woven with 80 per cent recycled cotton – and is an exciting addition to our growing sustainable fabric offering, saving water and energy. ‘At Linwood, we believe in sustainable design,’ says Sales Director, Warrick Gloyn.

‘We are striving to produce fabrics that last, feel good and that don’t harm the earth. This is our first launch for 2021, but we are working on a new generation of recycled fabrics.’

The plain, chemical-free cotton fabric is double brushed, so is wonderfully soft on both sides. There are 46 colours in the comprehensive palette, ranging from simple off whites and classic neutrals to impactful shades such as fresh, modern pinks and blues. This durable fabric is ideal for curtains, loose covers and upholstery and is easy to maintain – it can be washed at 30º at home with no shrinkage.
