Linwood introduce Omega Prints II
Established in 1994, Linwood is a family business based in the South of England. In creating both classic and contemporary designs, their aim is to combine beauty, quality and practicality to offer fabric and wallpapers that inspire and delight. They have supplied many pubs, hotels and residential clients in the UK and around the world, with a varied range of high quality weaves, hard wearing velvets, classic prints in fresh colourways, and unique, bold wallpapers.
Omega Prints II is a beautiful addition to their extensive velvet offering, helping secure Linwood’s reputation as the ‘House of Velvet’. This stunning range of printed velvets has 15 exclusive designs that range from animal prints to painterly styles; inspired by a myriad of sources from Moroccan kilims to vintage Russian textiles.
‘Omega Prints, one of our most successful launches ever, was pictorial in feel,’ says Ella Richards, Head of Design at Linwood. ‘So for Omega Prints II, I wanted to offer customers something fresh by focusing on geometrics in a palette that ranges from pastel to primary.’ Inherently fire retardant and soft to the touch, these velvets drape beautifully but are also stain resistant and washable, ensuring upholstery has longevity.
Fez – Tonal patchwork design, inspired by different carpets the team found on their travels.
Java – This contemporary design has the feel of a multicoloured weave but is actually a printed velvet fabric. Chesil Beach – This small scale abstract design, which would work beautifully in any home, is inspired by pebbles.
Bukhara – This painterly-style design, inspired by a Russian Ikat print, has four colourways including Emerald shown.
