MoreySmith Marks 30 Years With Expansion of Senior Team

Marking over 30 years in business, London-based RIBA chartered interior and architectural practice MoreySmith has announced its latest promotions.

Eva Aetopoulou, Barry Adams and Zoe Bailey

The practice was founded by Linda Morey-Burrows in 1993 and collaborates with some of the world’s biggest brands, designing commercial interiors that add value to the people that inhabit them. The company’s dedication to mentoring creativity has shaped the careers of dozens of designers and architects and many of MoreySmith’s senior team started as interns in the practice. In 2018 the business became an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) empowering the 35 employees to have a stake in the success of the business.

Morey-Burrows says:

“I can’t think of any better way to mark over thirty years in business than celebrating the incredible young talent in our team. I am so grateful for their continued dedication, creativity and professionalism and I have no doubt that the next three decades will prove to be just as exciting.”

Eva Aetopoulou & 20 Rathbone Place

After gaining her architecture degree, Eva Aetopoulou studied Narrative Environments at Central St Martin’s, followed by a decade of practicing in London. Having joined MoreySmith in 2020, Eva is the latest member of the team to be promoted to Senior Associate after leading the architectural work on 45 Pall Mall for JP Morgan Asset Management. Eva is now working again with JPM on 20 Rathbone Place (pictured) and three other commercial projects as well as providing architectural insight into StudioMorey’s current transformation of a private residence in Vienna. “I enjoy working within integrated teams. At MoreySmith the interiors team works seamlessly with the architecture team and I find this fluid creative collaboration very interesting and productive,” she explains. Eva is the most recent member of the expanding senior team joining Zoe Bailey and Barry Adams.

Zoe Bailey & 23 Savile Row

Zoe Bailey joined the MoreySmith team as graduate designer in 2016. She played a key role in the design of 23 Savile Row for Lazari Investments (pictured), 280 Bishopsgate for Arax Properties, various Castleforge projects and more recently Frank Capital. Zoe is a driving force within StudioMorey the new residential brand established in 2022 by Linda Morey-Burrows. She’s currently working on a private residence in Vienna and a three bedroom show apartment for Raffles Residences in the historic Old War Offices, London.

Barry Adam & Frank Capital

Barry Adams joined MoreySmith straight after graduating 18 years ago and has risen up the ranks ever since. Barry leads the technical team working closely with the team’s construction director and has worked with clients including Sony Music, Castleforge Partners, McKinsey, LVMH House and more recently working closely with Frank Capital (pictured) and Capvest.
