Newmor: It’s all about metallics
This summer Newmor have launched three new wide width fabric-backed vinyl wallcoverings for the commercial interiors market. The new designs showcase a spectrum of metallic effects – dramatic distressed tiles, a vertical woven emboss and an industrial studded texture.

Stud is one of Newmor’s most heavyweight (675mg) wallcoverings, perfect for uneven walls and high traffic areas. With interiors moving away from the raw industrial look we’ve seen so much of in recent years, Stud offers a contemporary look with refined industrial edge.
Newmor’s design studio specialise in textile effects and this vertical slubby silk emboss is a new favourite. With metallic threads set against muted neutral shades, Raya is classic but with subtle flair. Because of the vertical weave there is no paneled effect and joins are invisible.
Antiqued, mottled or ‘foxed’ mirrors never go out of fashion, the soft lighting effects and contemporary elegance are ever popular in residential interiors and now available in a highly durable finish for commercial interiors. Jakar showcases a matte distressed tile print against a mirror metallic mylar base.
Alongside the standard designs, Newmor have introduced a new artist collaboration to their Newmor Designer collection. Leigh Bagley, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, is a contemporary pattern designer celebrated for his prominent use of colour and geometric form. All five designs can be easily customised and printed onto any of Newmor’s base materials, including textures, metallics and window films.
