Newmor Releases New Case Studies

Newmor have released a selection of recent projects they have been working on. With hundreds of designs and colour options, backed up by one of the largest ex-stock collections available, Newmor has a wallcovering suitable for any project or budget. Texture, colour and pattern is what they do best and at Newmor the options are endless. Doubletree Excel, London

DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its newest property in London, the 260-room DoubleTree by Hilton London Excel.  Located in the heart of London’s up-and-coming financial hub. Newmor supplied their most popular wall covering design – Darnell for the guestrooms and suites. Darnell is a classic horizontal silk design with a subtle but tactile emboss and an elegant slubby silk print. This traditional design has a panelling effect and comes in a range of useable, refined colours. 

 

MyLounge, Gatwick Airport

London-based architecture and design firm InsideOut has completed a new 3,800sq ft My Lounge at London Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal. Newmor supplied digital wallcoverings from their Newmor Custom collections for the lounge, featuring Watercolour Geometric; a large scale geometric design with an inky, weathered effect. The Newmor Custom collections have been created in-house by the talented design team, adding four new collections every year. 

A spokesperson for InsideOut said: “We worked closely with the client to produce an inclusive design that was both informal and refined so that anyone would feel welcome, whatever their age. The bold colours and tactile surfaces were chosen to create a characterful space, contrasting with the sterile airport environment.”

 

Hilton Garden Inn, Abingdon

The brief for this project was to focus on creating an upscale, tailored and contemporary Boutique experience featuring light and airy spaces and a level of uniqueness and detail not previously seen in chain hotels. Flashed of organic green hues appear throughout, connecting the interior to the outside spaces and providing an harmonious atmosphere.

Newmor supplied their Sorrento fabric-backed vinyl wallcovering for all bedrooms and suites at the Hilton Garden Inn. Sorrento is a burnished tile effect design influenced by weathered metals and textured etched surfaces.

 

RB Pharma, Lisbon

The open plan space features wallcoverings from Newmor’s Leigh Bagley Newmor Designer collection, acting as a focal point among the stimulating yet natural colours, textures and patterns.

The Newmor Designer collections are created exclusively for Newmor by established designers and are available for recolouring, resizing and printing onto any of their wallcovering materials, including textures and metallics. These designs also look great printed onto window film. Newmor launch new collections twice a year, so watch this space!
