Newmor Wallcoverings Collaborate with 2LG
Texture, colour and pattern, it’s what Newmor do best and at Newmor the options are endless. Newmor specialise in commercial quality, wide-width fabric-backed vinyl wallcoverings. With the intention of bridging the gap between artists, makers and commercial interiors, the company launched Newmor Designer in 2016. The collection already boasts an eclectic mix of painters, fashion designers, textile artists and artists and the latest collaboration is with award winning design studio, the Two Lovely Gays (2LG).

Founded by creative duo, Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead, 2LG have developed a signature style distinguished by simplicity, elegance, functionality and their bold use of colour. Their transparent way of working has evolved over years of working with clients and allows creativity to flow freely. With one eye on the past and the other on the future, they believe that each element of a space should have a voice of its own.
The collaboration began with 2LG’s show apartment at the iconic Balfron Tower. Working together to produce a hand drawn tiled design inspired by the Brutalist architecture and drawing on the original mid-century interiors. This design is now available as part of the collection alongside a striking full height version.
The collection features the duo’s signature colours, arched shapes and layers of texture. Each design has been hand painted or drawn with felt tips and digitally manipulated evoking their trademark ‘joyful minimalism’ style. Expect colour, form, bold shapes and a play on scale influenced by the 60s for statement designs with big impact. Print onto any of Newmor’s wallcoverings, including textures, metallics and window films.
