‘OLA’- THE NEW WAVE BY FURNITURE FUSION
Earlier this year the “Ola” chair range was introduced at the Salone del Mobile Milano (Milan Furniture Fair) and created quite a stir.
The Ola collection is inspired by the principle of “less is more”, this means to remove the superfluous in order to leave the essential. This assumption is respected in every type of material, decor and functionality. In Ola there are two souls which are in direct contrast: on one hand the metal tube, which is solid but elastic in forms and that supports and protects the shell; on the other hand the sinuous shell, which is in wood, padded, in metal or in plastic. These two key elements – tube and shell – model soft waves of infinite nuances: they could be Nordic if interpreted with the warmth of wood, or soft if padded with fabrics or leathers. The collection is composed of chair, armchair and stool, they are stackable and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The use of Ola models is extremely versatile: they furnish young living spaces as well as common areas reflecting the philosophy of conviviality.
The warmth of wood brings elegance to Ola’s fundamental and functional design. Its soft waves give a Nordic touch, creating a contemporary and versatile profile, which is able to decorate any room. Ola well suits both residential and contract applications. Its shell is made of stained wood and it is available in different finishes. Its four-legs base is available in painted steel. Chair, armchair and stool are stackable up to eight pieces.
The Ola minimalist soul becomes lively and expressive in its upholstered version thanks to the several variants in fabric, leather and ecoleather. The upholstered shell naturally becomes a chair, an armchair and a stool, which perfectly suits in the lacquered steel structure. The last one is available in three different colors. Color, softness and design are the key elements of Ola collection, that furnishes the various living and social spaces, creating a link between home and common environment.
Ola in its metal version is the result of a mix between contemporary urban style and a strong aptitude towards metropolitan and industrial life. The minimal and essential design, that we can find in metal Ola version, is easily aptable to any kind of indoorand outdoor environment. Ola is compact and stackable in every version as chair, armchair and stool. They are available with four-legs structure in painted steel with shell in abs and they are stackable up to eight pieces, therefore they can be used in both indoors and outdoors.
Ola tables are inspired by the versatility of the collection thought in a vintage way. Retaking the metal tube theme that characterizes the seats profile, Ola tables become a versatile, lightweight solution. Tops are available in different shapes, sizes and materials, while bases can be on three or four legs in painted steel. They are all suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
