Palladian Strengthens Leadership Team with New Associate Directors to Drive Award-Winning Projects

Multi-disciplinary architects and interior designers Palladian – specialists in the luxury residential sector – have confirmed the appointment of the final member of their new, four-strong Associate Directorship tier. The four join Founding Partners Hugo and Beatle Lindsay-Fynn as part of the practice’s senior management team, helping to manage the company’s talented and growing team in the delivery of the practice’s award-winning projects. This year, the company’s Tile House project, for example, has won an IDA (International Design Award) and is currently shortlisted for a British Homes Award 2024.

Sanaz Amini – Associate Director (Operations), Alex Birch – Associate Director, Freya Godwin-Brown – Associate Director (Interiors), Faisal Ali – Associate Director

Freya Godwin-Brown is the practice’s new appointment, becoming Palladian’s Associate Director (Interiors), whilst the three new internal promotions are Faisal Ali and Alex Birch, both named as Associate Director (Architecture), and Sanaz Amini, who becomes Associate Director (Operations).

Freya Godwin-Brown will head up Palladian’s interior design team, working closely with Founding Partner & Commercial Director Hugo Lindsay-Fynn to create the practice’s exquisite, award-winning residential interiors. Freya has over 15 years’ experience in the luxury sector, spanning both the prime residential and high-end hospitality markets, having worked previously at a number of London’s leading architectural and design practices, including Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and Studio Mackereth.

RIBA-chartered architect and Associate Director Faisal Ali is a multi-disciplinary team leader on many of Palladian’s super-prime residential schemes, working closely with Founding Partner Hugo Lindsay-Fynn at the concept stage of new projects. His experience spans all eras of architecture, from new-build to period and listed properties, whilst his personal community-oriented interests also see him committed to external pro bono educational work with NGOs.

Alex Birch is a RIBA-chartered architect and Associate Director at Palladian. A technical specialist, Alex particularly enjoys overseeing projects on site, bringing his extensive professional knowledge of the construction process to the successful delivery of final schemes. Alex also brings an in-depth knowledge of planning laws, especially in London, to his role, with experience of both the requirements of listed building and conservation area consents, as well as the detailed workings of the capital’s major estates.

Sanaz Amini is the new Associate Director (Operations) at Palladian, ensuring business objectives are always met efficiently and effectively. Working closely with the practice’s Founding Partners, Sanaz oversees the delivery of key campaigns and the smooth management of the office as a whole. She also works with Palladian’s project teams to help track projects financially, ensuring all work is on time and on budget, whilst additionally running the business’s property management arm.

Founding Partner and Palladian Managing Director Beatle Lindsay-Fynn commented:

‘‘These new appointments and promotions will strengthen our internal structure as we prepare for future growth, as well as providing additional client-facing senior personnel. As a multi-disciplinary practice, we considered each design discipline both individually and collectively when creating these new roles, entrusting the most talented designers and leaders to each to ensure all departments continue to flourish and excel.”
