Five-star Hotel Gotham in central Manchester has been joined by its new younger sister, Hotel Brooklyn, which is inspired by the popular downtown borough of New York and ‘An homage to the Gilded Age of New York City’.
The Brooklyn Hotel boasts 189 innovative bedrooms, Runyon’s restaurant, Salvation, a panoramic rooftop bar and Brooklyn Heights a banqueting space where you can look out across Chinatown and the city center.
Following the success of Hotel Gotham, renowned Interior Designer, Oliver Redfern of Squid.inc, once again asked PS Interiors to work with them to supply the furniture for this prestigious project.
In keeping with the laid back vibe of Runyon’s restaurant, an eclectic mix of stylish lounge chairs, classic shaped dining chairs and tables were chosen to complement the trendy casual dining atmosphere.
Comfortable lounge chairs and specially designed bespoke sofas by PS Interiors set the scene in The Snug, a cosy lounge area with vinyl players, where you are reminded of the Manchester music scene.
The Salvation bar attached to the banqueting space Brooklyn Heights, is on the ninth floor offering spectacular views across the city. Chic swivel bar stools offer the perfect solution to make the most of the panoramic views or sit back in the plush elegant chairs by the window and enjoy the view.
The mix of traditional and contemporary furniture carries on throughout the bedrooms with a classic design chair chosen for the desk area. Luxurious lounge chairs and sofas were chosen to relax in after a hard day shopping and sight seeing. A specially designed sofa bed complements the furniture adding an extra comfortable solution for a perfect nights sleep.
