RHA Furniture at Mercure Edinburgh

BCFA member RHA Furniture is a family run business with 25 years of experience in supplying contract furniture and custom-made joinery solutions to the leisure, hospitality, corporate and luxury residential sectors both in the UK and Overseas.

RHA pride themselves on building and maintaining close relationships with their clients so that it builds trust and allows swift communication, speeding up projects and minimising costs.

One such relationship is with Jupiter Hotels. They operate 27 hotels across the UK under the Mercure brand name. RHA have been working with them and their interior designers HH Interiors closely over the last few years as they undergo refurbishment of many of their hotels, most notably Edinburgh and Swansea.

Edinburgh was RHA’s most recent completed Jupiter project. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is a stone’s throw from Edinburgh castle and all the shops, food and nightlife Edinburgh has to offer. The RHA team were approached to help with the re-design of their bar and brasserie consisting of a huge open space for dining and drinking. HH Interiors designed a bold and bright area with a focus on comfort and luxury, yet strong and durable enough to stand up to the large amounts of customers using the area whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner and late-night drinks.

RHA Furniture supplied a selection of bespoke and standard furniture. One notable bespoke design was the back-painted glass and marble table tops. These were finished with real brass trim and fixed on round brass table bases. Another big part of the look were some beautiful seating solutions each upholstered in a mixture luxurious velvets and leathers. Nowhere does this stand out more than with the bar stools in purple velvet and brass studding.
