Roger Lewis celebrates anniversary at CDW
Leading furniture designer and maker, Roger Lewis, will unveil an industry first at Clerkenwell Design Week (21-23 May) in Design Fields DF19 to mark its 30th anniversary. Its new bespoke product offering, The Customiser app, combines cutting edge technology with craftsmanship to allow the A&D community to create truly bespoke pieces for clients.
The new app enables designers to stretch their imagination to see their own artwork printed onto the finest fabric before being hand-upholstered to the popular Roger Lewis Sintra chair.
“We’ve been developing our new customising tool for quite some time and we’re really excited to unveil it at Clerkenwell Design Week – not least because 2019 is such a significant year for both organisations.” – Nick Lewis, design director at Roger Lewis.
Throughout the event, visitors are invited to try the app on the Roger Lewis stand to create their own unique piece of furniture.

The second-generation, family-run business will showcase its future-facing approach and skilled craftsmanship in an engaging, interactive space at the show.
Bringing key elements of the Wiltshire-based factory to London’s Clerkenwell, master upholsterer Bob Lea one of the businesses longest serving employees, will be based on the stand to give regular demonstrations of his craft.
A hero selection of the latest products will also feature, including the Sintra and Onyar pieces, providing visitors the opportunity to view the fine detailing up close. Design director Nick Lewis will be on hand to provide the creative context to the products, which draw inspiration from around the globe.
In addition to the core ranges, a never-before-seen piece designed by the highly acclaimed designer Richard Jones will offer festival-goers an exclusive first look.
