Sleep: Ahead of the Curve
Designers visit Sleep, Europe’s foremost hospitality design event, as they know it’s the best place to get ahead of the curve for sourcing stylish new products that will breathe life and personality into their next projects. Added quality assurance comes from the many BCFA members exhibiting 21 and 22 November during the 2017 show at London’s Business Design Centre, several of which have chosen Sleep to debut their latest creations, including:
Located at stand G4, GROHE, the event’s Founder Sponsor and host of the VIP Lounge, returns to showcase not only its new Essence Colours collection and its state-of-the-art Sensia Arena shower toilet, but to also debut new intuitive features in its SmartControl shower range.
Kobe will introduce three new flame retardant collections at its stand M32: Arrow, a geometric woven jacquard in 14 colours; Lines, which mixes matt and metallic-look yarns to create an abstract design in 11 shades; and Buccari, an elegant marquisette fabric woven with 100% Trevira CS yarns in 27 colourways.
In addition to presenting its award-winning AXOR Uno and Select Collections, Hangrohe will present the AXOR 350 overhead shower’s new PowderRain spray type that envelops the skin like a silky rain shower, as well as its new RainSelect unit for controlling shower functions plus water temperature and quantity.
From its stand G7a, Camira will display fabric ranges newly created for hospitality with a 10-year guarantee, along with favourites such as the wool-blend Synergy available in 75 shades. Sales of Synergy support charity Just a Drop through donations to a Kenyan clean water project for every metre sold.
Hypnos will exhibit a new mattress featuring even more natural fillings that help provide the perfect sleep environment through high levels of comfort, support and breathability whilst regulating body temperature.
Visitors to Morgan’s stand M23c can discover additions to the Hampshire-based brand’s collections, including a daybed in its Valencia series as well as new tables with marble and brass details in its Goodwood and Chevy lines.
