Style Library Contract’s Islay Wools from Sanderson

Style Library Contract presents Islay Wools from Sanderson, five new designs of classic wool plaids, each with a contemporary twist. After an inspiring Autumn and Winter collection, we are excited to see what this BCFA member will bring. Islay Wools creates interior spaces that are warm, welcoming havens. 

A lovely marled wool quality with lots of texture and warmth, these rich updated colour combinations compliment Sanderson’s A/W collection – Elysian, combining country style with sumptuously rich colours and velvets.

Coordinating with Elysian’s prints and wallpapers, Islay Wool gives an exciting new decorating story to the entire Sanderson range. Crafted in the UK, each of the designs is 100% wool and inherently fire retardant, offering the perfect mix of comfort and performance for contract interiors. The collection has been coloured to complement the new Sanderson Paint range, picking up on darker, more autumnal hues, accented with brighter greens and a variety of wonderful greys.

Hector, a smart, useable herringbone design with textural and colour interest created by spaced dyed warp yarns is offered in soft muted hues like Heather, Fig and Pewter Grey.

Bryndle Check introduces a large asymmetrical check plaid for a modern take on a country classic, which is paired beautifully by Fenton Check – a versatile mid-scale symmetrical checked plaid in four colour options that complement the larger Bryndle Check.

Offering a new twist on the classic plaid, Samphrey Check is an ombred design where the colours gradually fade from dark to light in the warp and weft, giving a softer and more contemporary look. Alternatively, Findon – a small-scale gingham has been designed with an irregular square texture throughout, breaking up the solidity of the check and enhancing the textural quality and colour movement of the design.
