Taylor’s Classics: A Historic North Norfolk Malthouse Transformed into a Modern Hospitality Destination

Part of the Chestnut Hospitality collection, The Maltings’ restoration has been a three-year project, taking inspiration from its North Norfolk location and its history as both a supplier to local brewers and an artist’s studio. The old malthouse is now a destination to eat and drink, sleep and play, explore and discover more, blending tradition with modern comfort, style, and service. 

Home to 28 bedrooms spread across the main house and the old stable blocks that reflect the spirit of the area, to the spectacular double-height restaurant, The Grain Store.

The Grain Store – a double-heighted restaurant that serves exciting food using the finest, freshest ingredients. Some dishes are designed for sharing… the best way to explore the menu and there’s something for everyone.

Throughout the restaurant on both levels, you will find a selection of Taylor’s Classics pieces featured. From their modern Benchairs 700 armchairs, stained in dark oak and upholstered in a soft pale green velvet, paired with tulip cast iron bases and a mix of marble and oak tabletops for dining tables.

Outside in the garden areas, you will find their exclusive outdoor Alice stacking chairs, all powder coated in pale green complimenting the restaurant furniture and paired with matching Farley outdoor table bases and classic Carrara marble tops.
