Taylor’s Classics New Website & Projects
Since 1978, Taylor’s Classics has been supplying traditional and modern furniture to bars, restaurants, hotels, cafes, cafés and pubs all over the world. The company designs, manufacturers and stocks its own collections of chairs, tables and stools, as well as many other eclectic pieces of furniture. They also restore reclaimed furniture and supply antiques to be used in a variety of settings within the hospitality market.
They are pleased to announce they have a new website with the exciting addition of a Projects tab, keeping their audience up to date with their latest work. We thought we’d take a look at some of these projects…
Pub – The Boat public house at Erbistock is a grade II listed building constructed in the 17th century. The building and its vernacular character, with random rubble walls, well- proportioned fenestration and series of cellular rooms with open fires, are all part of its aesthetic appeal and Taylor’s Classics ensured that this atmosphere was preserved in this project by supplying traditional classics as well as antique and reclaimed furniture. https://www.taylorsclassics.com/portfolio/pubs/the-boat-inn-erbistock/
Restaurant – The Florist, Watford. The Florist believes in the fundamental principles of floristry, to charm each of the senses. They invite you to ‘step into a sensory world’ when you visit. Taylor’s Classics supplied bespoke, traditional classics, traditional bentwood and the outdoor Alice Collection. https://www.taylorsclassics.com/portfolio/restaurant/the-florist-waford/
Café – Bistro Sommelier in Dusseldorf. The newly developed “Bistro Sommelier” is a unique blend of architecture, French lifestyle, art, exclusive wine and fine dishes. Described on the website as ‘Exceptional interior, its own winter garden, olive trees and the finest marble elements meet French cuisine, an in-house bakery, distinctive oak wood, characteristic coffee house chairs and high-quality art.’, Taylor’s Classics supplied traditional Bentwood to this exciting project. https://www.taylorsclassics.com/portfolio/cafe/bistro-sommelier-duesseldorf/
Bar – The Alchemist, Bevis Marks. Described as ‘A celebration of the unconventional, dark and controversial!’, The Alchemist at Bevis Marks is a fascinating place. Taylor’s Classics supplied modern seating and some bespoke manufacturing. https://www.taylorsclassics.com/portfolio/bar/the-alchemist-bevis-marks/
Hotel – Y capel in Conwy is a converted chapel. It is a grade II listed building due to its special architectural interest as one of the few surviving town-centre chapel buildings, well preserved and of definite 19th century character with retention of original detail. Taylor’s Classics supplied the Newport bedroom collection and antique & reclaimed furniture in fitting with the historic building. https://www.taylorsclassics.com/portfolio/hotel/y-capel-conwy/
