Taylor’s Classics, the Stafford based contract furniture designer and manufacturer, is well known for its collections of new, refurbished and bespoke chairs, tables and other items of traditional furniture for the hospitality market. The portfolio of products features iconic designs from the past 200 years and the company has supplied restaurants, pubs and hotels throughout Europe.
Taylor’s Classics has specialised in working with clients that seek individual interiors to complement their own unique building, service or product. One company that has worked with Taylor’s Classics to develop its own identity is The Craft Beer Company.
The past decade has seen a huge growth in the popularity of micro breweries and craft beers. Beers from around the UK, Europe and the rest of the world have found their way into specialist pubs and bars and one of the leaders in this field is The Craft Beer Co run by Martin Hayes. The company has now grown to 6 pubs. It is over 2 years since Taylor’s and The Craft Beer Co started to work together. Taylor’s has supplied its own bench, table and chair designs to the 4 most recent pubs and as the pubs have grown larger so have the orders for the furniture. The pubs are located in Brighton and around London with the most recent opening near Covent Garden. Each pub has its own design characteristics and Martin Hayes has chosen a wide range of furniture from the Taylor’s collection to emphasise those characteristics and to provide a friendly and functional environment for its customers.
