Tektura – New Year, New Designs!
Tektura have just launched a new range of wallcoverings which provide a modern spin on some classic looks. Keep reading to get a glimpse at the trends which inspired them…
Shadowy Florals
Here’s our take on the floral trend. The new florals are shadowy and layered in mostly pared back neutral and monochrome tones. We think that Kabuki, our new elegant floral pattern, will look striking everywhere from hotels to bars and even offices. This glimmering wallcovering nods to oriental cherry blossom and has a silk emboss.
Chevrons
This one probably comes as no surprise – chevrons are everywhere. Our design team have come up withZigzag Grand – a soft, understated and large scale chevron pattern which is very ‘now’ yet will stand the test of time. The smooth, softly irridescent surface and neutral wood-inspired palette, we think, hits the nail on the head.
Shagreen
It’s a classic look – elegant, sophisticated and luxurious. Skins are back in the limelight and we love our new shagreen effect design, Rayskin. The colour palette is fresh and modern, and tiny glints of metal catch the light.
Crocodile Skin
Great for retail and bar interiors – this new crocodile skin effect comes in a versatile range of iridescent and high gloss shades, including rose gold. Embrace the dark wall trend and create full on glamour with wall to wall black Nile Croc, or go super-luxe with white gloss.
Embroidery
It’s definitely worth looking at the artists currently working with embroidery, the artform is making a comeback and we’re pleased because this might be our favourite new design. Our design Embroidery has a fine tweed-inspired background with delicate metallic threads catching the light. It’s the kind of design which looks best in real life, so grab a sample and get close up.
