Trendboard 2016- Abstract Focus
Throughout this month Design Insider will be featuring a variety of ‘Patterns and Textures’ trendboards focusing around 5 different themes; Abstract, Geometric, Repeating, Soft and Metallic. The images featured in the trendboards are from collections and custom designs from BCFA members.

KAI
This image featured on the trendboard is from the fabulous JAPURA collection from KAI Fabrics. Inspired by animal skins, abstract elements, textures and natural forms. This stunning fabric collection features delicate animal inspired jacquards, luxurious embossed leaves and beautifully distressed dog-tooth velvets.
Infused with tones of gold, copper and silver these stunning fabrics encompass a feeling of luxury with subtle elements of distressed textures and natural forms.
WILTON CARPETS
Distressed and abstract digital trompe l’oeil effects, crackles and peeling paint along with structured textured weaves along with the textured abstract painterly effects.
There are still lots of greys, silvers, minks and warm greys with plum tones Chartreuse, warmer rose golds and coppers layering metallic together.
