Trendboard 2016- Abstract II Focus
We continue to the theme of ‘Abstract’ textures and patterns, with a range of materials from BCFA members featuring some of the most innovative prints.
WILTON CARPETS
Distressed, peeling paint and textured abstract painterly effects, often inspired by nature, are creating beautiful backdrops.
There are still lots of greys, livers, minks and warm greys – and teals which have become notably more blue biased with deep pacific tones.
SEKERS FABRICS
Bamburgh, a new upholstery collection of four distinctive jacquard designs, including an undulating stripe and a subtly stepped square pattern, both with multicolour wefts, an elegant Greek key design and a textured semi-plain, all woven with a soft but very durable chenille yarn.
With a high abrasion performance of more than 50,000 Martindale, Bamburgh is perfect for the most demanding upholstery application and the ideal choice for the designer specifying for the commercial hospitality, leisure and marine markets.
LOOMAH
Loomah’s VISTA COLLECTION is influenced by urban and rural landscapes with inspiration taken from the colours and patterns created by our surroundings.
ULSTER CARPETS
Ulster Carpets are delighted to have been involved in the recent refurbishment of Hilton Rotherhithe since its re brand by Double Tree Hilton. Working closely with ICA London, Ulster have produced a complementary array of bespoke designs for the public areas, corridors and guestrooms.
As London’s last dry dock and located close to the historical ‘Port of London’ Rotherhithe’s design was clearly inspired by London’s trade routes with a strong focus on a navigational theme. Using Ulster’s innovative PSYLO™ technology our London based designers were able to create delicate layers of colour, texture and pattern to achieve this.
STARK CARPETS
The MISSONI collection completely sets itself apart and adds a daringly bold variation on STARK’s product offering.
Bright contrasts and intricate patterns, the custom made rugs come in a variety of textures, construction and fibres, including fine wool, wool and silk, and pure delicate silk.
