Patternistas is a design studio using colour, pattern, language and creativity to invigorate interior & exterior spaces. With a background in branding and illustration we understand how to use appropriate visual storytelling to engage audiences. We have a particular interest in the role art and design can play in creating interesting, uplifting spaces that give a sense of place and improve the wellbeing of the people that populate them. Creating connections between users and environment is vital to our work. We have a wealth of experience in running creative workshops that are enabling and inspiring to all participants from young children to working professionals.

Samantha Dawe is the Marketing Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region at Shaw Contract. Shaw Contract EMEA’s range of commercial flooring solutions includes carpet tiles and resilient flooring, with selected ranges manufactured at its facility in Scotland. Shaw Contract is part of Shaw Industries Group which is one of the world’s largest carpet manufacturers. Samantha has worked in communications and marketing roles for over 25 years and started her career working in the publishing industry.
Mark Allison, Sustainability Consultant, Mark Allison Consulting
Mark Allison Consulting was founded this year by Mark who is a well-respected sustainability consultant with 30 years’ experience working in UK and European markets. Mark’s experience spans across a wide and diverse range of markets, including, healthcare, pharmaceutical, chemicals, engineering, manufacturing, technology, retail, government agencies, local authorities, and furniture. Mark is straight forward-thinking northern lad with a real passion for the environment. In simple terms this means taking steps together in a partnership with clients to build a positive sustainable future.
